Hello There!

I am so excited to start a blog for my family! I have had so much fun reading my friends' blogs that I decided to start one too! Where do I start, though?? There is a lot of exciting stuff going on in our life so here it is...
My precious mama's boy ( I hope he will be), Tripp, smiled at me for the first time 2 weeks ago. It is pure joy to watch your baby grow and change and conquer these milestones.

Lexie is our little Tomboy! She is in no way a girly girl. She hates to have her hair fixed and refuses to keep any kind of bow or clip in it, hates wearing clothes, would play in the dirt ALL day long if I would let her, plays with critters (lately it's been lizards), and just loves to be outside and get dirty! I hate putting cute clothes on her because it just doesn't look right with the activities she chooses, and I don't want them to get messed up! The last week all she does outside is walk through the flower beds and the yard picking up little sticks! She gets a huge handful and just walks around with them. She is very focused and serious as she does this. It's too funny. We are literally outside every chance we get... She is the cutest little thing ever and I love that she is not girly because I am not so much either.

Here she is holding a shrub that our dog dug up. She slid down the slide over and over holding the shrub...may I also share that she had just gotten done playing in the water so the dirt is all over her...
Sticking her beloved
sticks in the water hose.
Leaving to go jogging and to the
park or "cark" as Lexie says it.
Bringing the lizards and snakes along!
