Brooks at 7 months

We are Goofy

These kids are so silly. I must admit I act pretty goofy myself. We make up the silliest songs, rhymes, nicknames, etc. Somehow Brooks has taken on the nickname Boo Boo. Not super cute, but it's just what we call him. So when he poops we say, "booboo has a poopoo" and we all laugh. The other song we sing is, " Who's the sweetest Boo Boo in town, It's Brooks, It's Brooks!" He loves that. Lexie and Tripp love Brooks so much. Lexie will read books to him, sing to him, and try to make him smile. Tripp sucks on his feet and hands and nose (ewww, ) screams in his ear, jerks on his arms, knocks him over in the jumparoo, which I didn't think was possible, but loves him so much! I think that's just his way of showing his affection. Brooks smiles at them so much. The other day Lexie made him laugh while we were driving. I always hear her making funny sounds and funny faces at him. In a gruff voice she kept saying, "What you looking at?" and he would laugh so hard. Those moments make my heart so happy. I know she was so proud too. He's starting to get so fun. He reaches for everything and sits up great. He's got two teeth now, and we are just waiting for him to start crawling! He is such a joy!
