We love the sprinkler parks around town. It was Tripp's first time to one and he loved it.

Bucket of Fun!

I put this bucket outside to use for the dog's water bowl, but Lexie had other plans for it. Now I can't keep her out of it. She's so cute...

Pocky Tollum

Randall's dad insists on being called Papa Collum by the kids. Lexie has had a hard time with it although she has made progress this week! She loves her Pocky Tollum and has a blast playing with him.

Frog and Lion

We have had so much fun with these 2 towels. I have even had to play the part of the frog and the lion and walk into the bathroom as one of them at the request of Lexie. I would hate for anyone to see that! Ha!

Watermelon Babe

We cut up one watermelon a week. It's one of our favorite evening activities after feeding the ducks! Tripp even eats it now too!

All I can say is we had a blast with the Johnston's and Sanford's! Perfect weather, great friends, water activities...it doesn't get much better!

So this past weekend I left the kids with Randall and went to a Matagorda beach house for my sister, Kathy's, bachelorette party! It was a great time...well, sort of. I was literally attacked by mosquitoes. When you walk across the sand dune to the beach the mosquitoes just swarm you. So I got attacked on the way to the beach and the walk back to the beach house... ~200 bites. I sure hope I didn't contract anything. We actually heard that they were evacuating cattle because of the mosquitoes. I am a mosquito magnet for some reason. I must be slightly allergic because I was the only one with huge whelps that never went away! They better be gone by the wedding!

I'm so excited for my sister to get married but I must admit I am going to miss her when she moves to Fort Worth! It's going to be SO weird that she isn't here anymore!! :( Her fiance is great...I really love him and I know she is in good hands!

Busy...

Well, the last few weeks I haven't been blogging much because I have been busy with a new stage in Tripp's life...some serious crawling and standing! I can't trust him for a second! He's had so many bumps and bruises on his head... poor guy. He seems to be having so much fun though!

Fun in the Sun

I bought Lex a new pool and of course she only played in it for 5 minutes and then she was done. Tripp actually liked it a little more than her. We had a fun day playing outside besides Lexie pooping in her bathing suit and trying to change her and the poop falling in the grass and then having to pick it up, and Lexie emptying the ashes from the firepit all over the ground and playing in it as I am trying to dry Tripp off and get him changed! It felt great to not have any commitments today though, and my kiddos are just so fun to watch! They are so precious and I just can't get enough of listening to Lexie talk and Tripp loving to cuddle with me.
