Love to hear them talk....
We take turns laying with our kids at bedtime. Randall lays with one and then we switch. Randall said when he got to Tripp's bed tonight Tripp said, " I was waiting for you so we could cuddle." Haha. Think he'll be saying that in 5 years? He is such a sweet little boy.

I told Lexie adamantly to do something and she replied with, "Whatever." Times they are a changin!

Tripp asked me the other day, "Mom, did you know you have pipes in your body? I said, "You do?" He said, "Yea, Grandma said that if your drink goes down the wrong pipe you have tears, and if it goes in the right pipe, you don't." I just love it!

When my mom asked Lexie if we were going to move, she replied,"We're just thinking about it right now." So mature sometimes!

When Tripp has a cut he says, "I have a rip on my toe."

Tripp says all his L's as a W. My favorite is when he says Wemons (Lemons). Always makes me laugh...

Tripp cries everyday when I drop him off at school. He says its because he misses me. He asks me, "Don't you miss me?" Awwwwww. :( One day when I picked him up he said he had lots of fun so I asked him if he missed me a little bit and he replied, " Not a Wittle(little) bit...I missed you the whoooole time!." Love him so much!

We had Tball practice tonight and I told Lexie that cousin Colin would be at practice too. She said, "Well I sure hope Collie isn't going to be grumpy at Tball."

Tool Time!-4th Birthday
Brownies piled in a dump truck....
wrecking ball tied to a tree and they stack boxes and demolish them...
dig site....
hammer golf tees (nails) into styrofoam....
party favors were home depot tool belts with a stencil ruler, paint brush, tool, and also a hard hat....
Goodies table had the tractor, hard hat, and wrench cookies I made sitting in a toolbox, reeses pieces among other things...
not a great picture but here's the table and off to the right is our gameroom with a construction sign that said "Build Zone." IN this room they were to stack/build with plastic cups, build with tinker toys and other blocks.
Invitations... We added a toy tool in everyone's invitation and delivered them. Fun!
Paint the house...
I loved this theme! Tripp is obsessed with tools and "work" as he calls it. He often asks if we can please go back home because he has work to do. He is creative and builds all kinds of stuff. There are some things I didn't get a picture of like the entrance and we also did a bike repair station where i had a little kid bike and they got to try to air up the tires with a bike pump and pretend to work on it with tools. Tripp has thanked me and hugged me for his "tool" party! Love him so much! He's such a creative, kind, cuddly, and loving little boy. After his second party last night, which was the family party, we were talking in bed and he said he didn't want to grow up anymore....he wanted to stay little. But then he thought and said, but if I grow up do I get to light matches and make a fire by myself? When I said yes, then he reconsidered. So funny!

New ad-Braunfels
For some reason my kids say New Braunfels like the title! Its just what it is to them even though I keep correcting them.
It was a fun year for the big ones! They had a little more freedom and loved playing with all their family members! We had a family band this year which was totally amazing! I've never seen Lexie dance so much! What fun and great memories!
